Equipment System
Weapons, Armor, Equipment and magic tools are widely available and used by almost every mage worth their salt. This can be from swords and bows to armor and brooms.
Durability of weapons is equal to double their base damage.
Weapon abilities are typically those that enhance combat. They do not allow for one to increase their stats, but to do things such as set their blade on fire, or extend it in length.
Since weapons are usually somewhat better at hurting people than a fist or foot, when you are using a weapon, you are treated as though you have +2 tiers strength.
ARMOR:
Armor is different from Weapons in that it increases your durability, rather than strength. When you wear it, it will increase your durability by +2 tiers.
EQUIPMENT/MAGIC TOOLS:
Equipment works in a different way, in that it is on a case by case basis for what it does, so one must app it and then possibly work with staff to adjust it to reach an appropriate level. Since all equipment technically have unique abilities, it is rough to assign direct stats or ability limits, but use the armor/weapon guides above to give you an idea.
Magic tools come in a variety of forms and serve myriad functions. Most require some amount of magic from the user to work, so those with little to no magic may be unable to use them properly. The most common types are brooms, which enable even the weakest mages to fly, and wands, which help mages focus their magic power.
EQUIPMENT PRICING
Equipment is priced based on what it is, weapons, armor, equipment or magic tools. Each has a base price for that type, but this can be increased based on any additional abilities that thing may have, so just know that the stronger you make something, the more you gotta pay for it.
