Tier System

9-3 – The lowest level for anyone to be placed into. You have basically no magical energy whatsoever, and can’t even control whatever energy you can muster. You are the absolute bottom of the barrel.
9-2 – Your magic power is still laughable, but at the very least you have distinguished that you are a cut above the weakest mages.
9-1 – You are now at the top of the very bottom. You haven’t shown that you have significant power, but at the very least, you are able to say that you are better than those weaker people below you.

8-3 – You have started to show some promise in the mystic arts. You can control your mana and spells a little better now and with enough practice you should be able to do some useful things with your magic.
8-2 – As you train and grow, your magic power increases as well. This allows you to continue to improve your magical prowess and grow even stronger.
8-1 – You have probably learned to use some of your magic ability without your grimoire at this point, able to do some basic things using your natural magic ability.

7-3 – You are weak still, but have reached the level most of the common folk would peak at. You can do some decent tricks with your magic to defend yourself against weak opponents or do basic chores, but all in all you still aren’t much to write home about.
7-2 – By this point, you know several different spells and have decent control over your magic. While still weak, you are continuing to push yourself and grow.
7-1 – You are almost at the point that you can think about your future in magic. If you desire to become a magic knight, now is the time to increase your training and really begin to push yourself to the limits.

6-3 – You are now technically skilled enough to think about trying out for the Magic Knights Entrance Exams, but you shouldn’t expect to do too well without really getting stronger.
6-2 – With further training, you are able to claim a greater level of control over your mana and a decent understanding of your own capabilities. This allows you to really begin to make the most of your magic and your grimoire.
6-1 – At this level, you are almost ready to do averagely well in the Magic Knight’s Entrance Exam. You have a good understanding of your abilities and decent offensive as well as defensive spells. You have enough variance in your magic that you should be about ready.

5-3 – This is the level where most people feel comfortable taking on the Magic Knights Entrance Exams. You are strong enough to hold your own against most low to mid-level opponents with a solid grasp on your magic and a decent level of control.
5-2 – At this point, you are more prepared and have more training or experience using your magic and are more comfortable with it. This means you are even more prepared for anything that you might end up facing in the field.
5-1 – At this level, you are what at least one of the Knight’s Squads would consider adequate for a new recruit. Eve if you show no abnormally powerful magic, you should be picked for nothing other than your own skill and growth potential.

4-3 – You are now generally among the lower rankings of the Junior magic knights. And while you are making strides in the right direction, you are now at the bottom of a whole other pile, congrats.
4-2 – You have continued your training and made it to the middle rankings of the Junior Magic knights. You have proven that you have what it takes to move forwards a little farther.
4-1 – You should now be close to the upper rankings of the Junior Magic Knights, having a notable talent for magic and ever-increasing magic power. You are beginning to make a name for yourself among your squad.

3-3 – At this point, you have earned a position at the lower ranks of the intermediate Magic Knight’s. You are stronger than you had been, but more importantly, you are more experienced and have an advanced grasp on your magical abilities.
3-2 – You have reached the middle ranks of the intermediate Magic Knight’s, you are strong now, that much is certain. But now its less about strength, but moreso about strategy, leadership and understanding the best ways to use one’s magic in any situation.
3-1 – Now you have entered the higher ranks of the intermediate magic knight’s. You are almost ready to be known as a senior, and as such might be placed in more leadership roles among your squad.

2-3 – This level is reserved for those fresh Senior Knights, ready and eager to prove themselves. They will find themselves leading a few members of their squad on missions and even leading them in training exercises.
2-2 – You are growing in power at a steady rate and have incredible control over your magic now! You are a regular leader on missions and in training and multiple members of your squad look to you for guidance at this point.
2-1 – You are now among the highest ranks of the senior magic knights. You are strong, wise and experienced. You are now being groomed for the captain position, though you aren’t quite ready to take it on yourself.

1-3 – You have reached the level known as Grand Magic Knight. Your power has reached a class all on its own, and it is said that one Grand magic knight is worth an entire squad of lower ranked knights. You are probably a fresh captain at this point.
1-2 – You are a middle level Grand Magic Knight. You can really hold your own against almost anyone out there and are just gaining more experience in your role as a magic knight.
1-1 – By now, you are a seasoned captain of your squad or at least of that level. You have exceptional control over your massive magical reserves. Your power is what many strive to attain, and you are truly an elite mage.

0-3 – Now you have crossed over the threshold, from elite to legend. You are a certain candidate to become the next Wizard King. Your talent with magic is unparalleled and your reserves are truly massive.
0-2 – This is the level that is associated with the Rank of Magic Emperor or Wizard King. You have reached what most consider the pinnacle of magical power and prestige.
0-1 – This level is one that is considered a myth. The utmost of power that could even defeat a Wizard king with minimal effort. This level is the true pinnacle of power.

Tiering Up

In order to Tier-up, one has a few options. This would be an In-Character promotion, earning your position through Character Development and RP. The other option would be purchasing it with total posts. Once one reaches a certain number of posts, you will automatically tier up! you just gotta claim it!

Tiering up through Character Development: In order to tier up through development, one must do something extraordinary that warrants an in character promotion. These things are determined as special rewards by staff, with the most common place for them being during site events.
